The Expenditure Efficiency Unit is an organizational entity responsible for developing strategies to optimize the utilization of all available university resources and regulating administrative and financial processes in a manner that ensures financial sustainability, enhances opportunities to achieve financial balance objectives, and improves the quality of related projects and programs. The establishment of this unit aligns with the national directives led by the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO), which aim to contribute to enhancing expenditure efficiency across government entities and improving the quality of projects, assets, and facilities.

To enhance and sustain financial expenditure efficiency by maximizing value and impact relative to spending through the optimal utilization of resources and prudent expenditure management, without compromising the quality of services and products provided. This mission aligns with the vision of the General Administration of Planning and Budget, which seeks to achieve financial sustainability while enhancing and rationalizing expenditure efficiency.

  • Contribute to improving expenditure efficiency across the University.
  • Develop an action plan to assess the University's performance on the Expenditure Efficiency Sustainability Pillars Program dashboard, in accordance with the program's primary and secondary pillars, in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Enhance the quality of projects, assets, facilities, infrastructure, programs, initiatives, and operational processes funded through the University's budget, in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Develop an executive plan for expenditure efficiency at the University, incorporating a range of expenditure efficiency opportunities, in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and specialized training programs in the field of expenditure efficiency, in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Identify and activate expenditure efficiency opportunities to support the achievement of financial balance objectives, in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Submit monthly reports on the team's achievements to the direct supervisor, with a copy provided to the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority.
  • Maintain continuous coordination to fulfill all requirements of the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority.
  • Contribute to enhancing expenditure efficiency across all sectors of the University.
